In the first half of the event, after the welcome speech by Dalma Kittka Dr., Kinga Lőcsei-Tóth presented the CLIMEV-GPP pathfinder project (financed by Climate-KIC) started in the summer of 2019 and the objectives of the workshop. The participants were given a thought-provoking presentation by István Sztranát - Budapest Transport Center - about their recent good practice on the procurement of a special vehicle.
During the morning procurers of target machines and later procurers of facility management related products and services were addressed by the organizers. After a brief introduction, participants shared their personal experiences and challenges regarding the green public procurement practices. This was followed by an informal discussion about hindrances that can pull back the appearance of environmental interest in tenders. The participants were proactive, openly sharing their opinions on the topic. The discussion was moderated by Ákos Czirner.
