IFKA organized and held a workshop for regional and local SMEs with the cooperation of a regional cluster, ArchEnerg. ArchEnerg is a Szeged based cluster, established in 2007 with the aim of creating an economic and social model based on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
During the workshop Maria Farkas, from IFKA introduced the concept of circular economy and industrial symbiosis, the principles of the theory and some Hungarian and international good practices. Maria explained a supportive tool which can introduce the circularity into the daily practice through the ISO 140001 EMS. We had a long and active Q&A section, which demonstrated a great interest of the audience.
