The Quality Development Centre is an independent economic department of the Public Foundation for the Progress of the Industry.
Our mission consists of disseminating the newest quality management and organization development methods in our country. The Centre takes an active role in the process of discovering professional needs and in order to achieve its goals it dedicates great efforts to help applicants of different Quality Awards by offering them guidance in self-assessment, consultancy and writing the application. In the interest of transferring best practices we cooperate with those Hungarian firms, who are leaders in using benchmarking as a tool.
According to our mission and goals we accomplish the following activities:
For external users it is really important to acquire the necessary information easily and fast. In the Centre we give assistance by providing it from our structured and well-organized database. It includes the national certifiers, consultant and awarded companies based on cooperation with other professional organizations, and we complete it with data on organizational development methods.
The self-assessment method is more frequently used as a development factor by hungarian firms. Our goal is to spread self-assessment in our country and promote the related methods, such as benchmarking. In relation to supporting development processes we consider finding „own solutions” in the different industrial sectors very important.
In each of our activities we aim at excellence, continuous improvement and development. We wish to realize development on the most efficient way by taking advantage of our partner relationships.
