In the last years we can experience the trend that young people would choose the research, science and engineering less likely as a learned profession. This process jeopardizes the successfulness and the prospect of development of the century of science and technology. Many countries, upon recognizing this threat, acted on the radical change of the education system or on the development of different programs and events, such as Physics on Stage and Science on Stage, and in Hungary the ENCOMPASS - ENCyclopedic knOwledge Made a Popular ASSet.
The MagicTree Project would like to follow in the tack of these initiatives and targeting the 14-18 years old students, propagate the beauty and usefulness of scientific research and innovation.
The project is based on 3 pillars:
1. Development and maintenance of an interactive webpage, which provides information and useful ideas for the ones who are interested.
2. Program series in cooperation with the Duna Television.
3. Scientific research executed by the employed Ph.D. students. There results will be published on the www.ifka.hu/csodafa website.
