The Public Foundation for the Development of Industry’s highest supervisory body is the Curatorium, the eight members of which are appointed by the Founders. The Curatorium is responsible for formulating strategy and granting sponsorship, deciding on the Foundation’s annual plans and the management of its funds, and furthermore may establish organisations for the purposes of carrying out such activities in line with achieving the aims set by the Foundation and fulfilling the tasks specified in the Foundation’s Charter.

The Supervisory Board, consisting of a Chairman and two other members, ensures the operation of the Foundation in accordance with the effective legal regulations and the Foundation’s Charter. It is obliged to inspect the Balance Sheet, the Profit & Loss Account, the most important reports presented to the Curatorium relating to the management of the Foundation, and proposals relating to the management of the Foundation.

It is the responsibility of the Foundation’s management to prepare and execute the decisions of the Curatorium, in addition to operationally managing the Public Foundation through the maintenance of the individual organisational units; the organisation and coordination of the professional activities; the performance of the operational tasks of the legal- and human resources departments, the secretariat of the Curatorium and the management. The Director of the Foundation is the head of the management.

 

The Centres, which do not possess the status of legal entities, are the organisational units of the Foundation, carrying out operational activities aimed at realising the targets set by the Foundation in accordance with its Articles of Association. The Managing Directors employed by the Foundation constitute the Foundation’s management team.
