EUPROM Centre was funded by the IFKA (Public Foundation for the Progress of the Industry) in 2003. It has been organizing EU proposal writing and project management courses for the employees of Hungarian companies and institutions. In this programme IFKA trains NGO and corporate employees as well as civil servants, who will be able to successfully apply for EU funds, effectively manage the projects and coordinate multi-actor consortia.
Meanwhile, we have grown rapidly… Based on the demands and the mission of IFKA we have initiated environmental projects too, in which EUPROM Centre can assist companies on their challenging track to excellence. Probably, one of the most important issues we try to help companies is the strategic response of the management of companies to risks and opportunities arising from carbon emission and climate change. Another important area of IFKA’s activities is the promotion of industrial ecology and industrial symbiosis among companies, in order to reduce the waste generated, thus their environmental impact.
Finally, we would like to share our knowledge with other adult education institutions in the field of accrediting institutions and courses in the form of counseling so they can perform at a higher standard.
